Saturday Program - Nurturing Young Hearts in Faith and Knowledge
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to the Debre Menkrat Saint Gabriel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Saturday Program! We are excited to embark on a new journey of faith, learning, and spiritual growth for your children in the upcoming year.
Our Saturday program is dedicated to enriching the lives of children aged 6 and above through the teachings of the Amharic language, Bible and moral studies, and an understanding of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo liturgy and hymn. With a focus on Holy Scripture and traditional church school learning methods, our aim is to cultivate the spiritual development of each child, guiding them towards a Christ-centered life.
Debre Menkrat Kids Registration 2024/2025
The teaching calendar for 2024/2025 is as follows:
- 1st Semester: Weekly on Saturdays until Christmas
- Break: Two weeks after Christmas
- 2nd Semester: Reopens after the break and continues until the end of May 2025.
Class Time: 9:00 AM - 11:45 AM
